Welcome to NextLevelFitClub.com. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is SheriAnne Nelson and I am happily married to my husband Mike. I’m a mother of three beautiful children ages 9, almost 6, and 3, am a passionate fitness professional, and a Star Diamond Level fitness coach within the Team Beachbody program in Scottsdale, Arizona. I love the fitness industry, having the ability to help others, helping people get results, and I love that doing what I do provides me a feeling of significance that I’m making a difference in this world.
Having gotten my Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, I’ve always had a fascination with the human body and just how incredible and self-healing it is. And what I’ve found through self-discovery and self-challenge is that my body’s abilities are mostly only limited by my mind, the pain level I’m willing to tolerate, and the limits I place upon myself. I know this sounds very cliché, and over-used, but it has rang very true for me.
I’ve also learned through my studies of the human body and through self-experiment that to get the best results doesn’t always mean going as hard as I can. For instance, I can limit how much I eat, remove all of the carbohydrates from my meals, and work out hard twice per day and still not see the results that I would see when I eat five smaller healthier meals, increase my water consumption, and consistently remain within my target heart rate for my one allotted workout time that day. The way we look and the way our bodies respond is very much a science, and I love the scientific challenge. Weight loss and body definition do not necessarily follow the rules of conventional thinking.
I’m passionate about doing my part to “End the Trend” of obesity in the United States, and enjoy helping and coaching anybody who wishes to see a change in their appearance and is willing to put forth effort, whether that’s physical, through a revised nutrition plan, or both. For many people, it’s as simple as adding one daily discipline and sticking to it. For others, they choose to make a radical change in their daily lives and are looking for a total transformation. Most people say they just want to look better, but they don’t realize there are so many other benefits to exercise and “looking better”. Other benefits include boosted self-confidence, increased energy, clearer focus during work hours, and significantly lowered health-related costs (i.e. health insurance costs, medications, etc), to name a few.
Cesar Milan, the Dog Whisperer, says, “I rehabilitate dogs, I train people”. I think what I do is along those same lines–I rehabilitate people’s bodies through their wishes and desire for change. Jim Rohn and John Maxwell, both revered as leading Leadership and Personal Development authors and speakers both admit that they cannot change people; they can only provide philosophies and disciplines that can help people that wish to change get better results. My business follows those same principles: you come to me with a desire for change that you understand requires effort and discipline–together we’ll create fantastic results. You come to me with a desire for change but are not willing to put forth effort–we have no foundation or anything of significance.
TV shows today like The Biggest Loser and Extreme Makeover are awesome for showing audiences worldwide that radical change is possible, yet have you noticed that the underlying message is that every one of those people who see those transformations come to the program with the desire for change, and the willingness to do what it takes?
In closing, here’s what I’ll leave you with: I help people get the results they desire, whether they are minor or totally transformational. You’ll find that I will never ask you to do something I have never done or am unwilling to do myself. And you’ll find that I rarely say, “now go do it” but rather “let’s go do it”!
